MLPAC
Multilingual Learner Parent Advisory Committee
All parents/caregivers of Multilingual Learners (MLs) in Winchester are automatically members of the Multilingual Learner Parent Advisory Council (MLPAC) and are warmly invited to attend all meetings.
The purpose of MLPAC is to build connections between school and home for our ML students and to advise school leaders on matters impacting our multilingual learners. The MLPAC is an opportunity for ML families to engage and share their voices, advocate for our students, and provide recommendations to school and district educators with regards to programs and services that support ML students. We host 3-4 MLPAC meetings per year.
MLPAC members:
- Meet and connect with other parents to have discussions.
- Plan fun events or activities for our ML families that celebrate diversity and multilingualism.
- Receive help with communications to your child’s school.
- Receive important news and opportunities related to MLs and their families.
